BEST MATERIAL FOR SLOPING GARDEN PATH

We want a new garden path made which slope downwards. It is only about 12 
Tippy
feet long. What is the best material to make the path out of which isnt

besuitable as l am not keen on the paving bricks. One builder said you

dont need to put a membrane down to keep the weeds out, is this true?l

cant use gravel for the path as it would be my main path to the house and 
we need to get the wheelie bin down it. also would it be better to havea 
couple of large laid out steps or just sloped down as it slopes down to

Why not concrete your path you can have it what ever way you

want.Also there quite a few ways to finish it off.You can also have it in

one long path or you can step it,this way needs more planning.

If it slopes 2ft in 12 feet, that is a slope of 1 in 6, which  
mocha latte
is fairly steep. You will need some kind of paving, as gravel would soon

You could easily wheel the bin down this, & bringing it up empty would be

no problem. If the slabs are laid on mortar on a concrete bed, & the area  
is excavated properly first, you won't need a membrane, but you would  
probably need one if they were laid on sand. There are lots of different  
kinds of paving slabs available, why not visit a builder is yard & have a
